Super Spanish with Foreign Languages for Kids (grades 1~5)

With so many enrichment options, why choose Spanish with Foreign Languages for Kids?
Why choose Spanish?
The benefits of exposing young children to foreign language are remarkable:
  • Their brains become more robust and flexible, they tend to do better on standardized tests, multi-tasking, and understanding others’ perspectives.
  • It is incredibly advantageous to start learning early. It is much easier for young children to pick up a new language and to feel comfortable and confident using it.
  • Especially in the United States, knowing Spanish is a valuable skill, personally and professionally.
  • It’s fun!
Why learn Spanish with Foreign Language for Kids?

We teach foreign language to children because we care and believe in what we do. We see firsthand how much learning Spanish benefits our students; we see students’ confidence grow as they realize they can speak Spanish, their excitement blossom, and their awareness of the world around them develop.

Our team has developed an award-winning line of products and programs teaching Spanish that are used internationally in private and public schools. Our decades of experience have taught us how to make learning foreign language enjoyable and effective. We know what works and what doesn’t. Our curriculum teaches using fun, hands-on games and activities that mirror using Spanish in everyday life. Our native and experienced teachers know how to get kids speaking Spanish, at times without them even realizing it!

Your time and your children’s time is valuable. It is our responsibility to make sure that the time your students spend with us is worthwhile. Our promise to you: We will do our very best so that your children enjoy, learn and retain Spanish from our program. All three of these tenets are necessary for a successful Spanish program and your children will receive all of them with us.

Python Coding (grades 3~5)

Coder Kids set off on a coding adventure by learning to code in this popular programming language used by Youtube, Netflix, and Google. Coder Kids learn the basics of computer science while developing their own programs and games in Python.

After completing this course, Coder Kids will be able to use the PyCharm Python editor to create their own Python files, run code, experiment with the Python Console, and resolve bugs. They will also be able to use for-loops, conditionals, if statements, and while loops to control the flow of their programs and create their own computer graphics using the Turtle Py library. Finally, they will use conditionals and other programming logic to design an A.I. capable of playing Tic-Tac-Toe.

Every Coder Kids course is built in accordance with the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Computer Science Standards. In Python programming, the standards that Coder Kids will achieve include:
  • Use a computing device to store, search, retrieve, modify, and delete information and define the information stored as data.
  • Create a plan as part of the iterative design process, both independently and with diverse collaborative teams (e.g., storyboard, flowchart, pseudo-code, story map).
  • Construct programs, in order to solve a problem or for creative expression, that include sequencing, events, loops, conditionals, parallelism, and variables, using a block-based visual programming language or text-based language, both independently and collaboratively (e.g., pair programming).
  • Construct and execute an algorithm (set of step-by-step instructions) that includes sequencing, loops, and conditionals to accomplish a task, both independently and collaboratively, with or without a computing device.
