Safety/Wellness

PTA Safety Committee

The Safety Committee works with the school administration and parents to support the school and parent community’s commitment to student safety. Projects include scheduling speakers on safety-related topics (e.g., cyber safety), sharing safety information and resources with parents, implementing parent surveys, and providing supplies (flashlights, snacks, water, etc.) in case of a school-wide emergency situation.

If you have a safety concern, your first point of contact should be Principal Reece. All safety concerns that come to the attention of the committee will be shared with the school administration. The committee will provide input and suggestions to parents and the school administration to help resolve safety concerns in a timely fashion. However, the safety committee has no authority for making decisions or policies regarding safety issues at school.
