The BHES PTA collaborates with school administrators, teachers, families, and representatives in our Whitman Cluster to foster an amazing school and school community for our students. The PTA Board, the Chairs of the over 40 PTA Committees, an army of PTA volunteers, and our BHES community make it possible for the PTA to support our teachers and enhance the learning experiences of our children.

It takes a village to run a PTA. Thanks to the amazing volunteers at BHES, the PTA is able to host dozens of programs and activities as well as provide daily support to teachers. Whether you only have an hour to spare on occasion, or have time to work on a long-term project, there’s a volunteer opportunity that fits every situation and schedule.

• Sales & Use Tax Exemption Certificate (SUTEC). The SUTEC allows for tax-free purchases of property and services to be used for carrying out the work of the PTA. This includes purchases of products or services that support PTA fundraisers, PTA sponsored community events or PTA funded enrichment programs.
